ORDER OF ENNEAD: Ft. Lauderdale Photos, Video Footage Available
September 15, 2008Over the weekend weekend, ORDER OF ENNEAD — the Florida extreme metal band featuring Steve Asheim (drums; DEICIDE),Scott Patrick (bass; RESURRECTION),Kevin Quirion (guitar, vocals; COUNCIL OF THE FALLEN) and John Li (guitar) — played a landmark one-night-only show with DEICIDE. According to Kevin Quirion, guitarist for both acts, the show surpassed all expectations:
"The show on Saturday was killer and The Culture Room is a great place to play," he said. "Crowd response was awesome and we'll come through again real soon. We hope to start booking tours soon also!!! We're coming for you!!!!!!"

ORDER OF ENNEAD's self-titled debut album was recorded at AudioHammer Studios in Sanford, Florida with the help of Mark Lewis, and will be released by Earache Records in the U.S. on November 11, followed by widespread touring. The 11-song effort is described in a press release as a collection of "blasting death metal with blackened overtones, all delivered with a high intellect and lyrical acumen."
